TRIAL STATUS​ DESCRIPTION​
POINT Recruiting participants / OPEN Enrollmen ​The objective of this study is to determine whether clopidogrel is effective in preventing major ischemic vascular events (ischemic stroke, myocardial infarction, and ischemic vascular death) at 90 days versus aspirin. 
SHINE ​Recruiting participants / OPEN Enrollmen The objective of this study is to determine the efficacy of tight glucose control with intravenous insulin infusion in hyperglycemic acute ischemic stroke patients within 12 hours of symptom onset.
RESPECT
Follow up status for enrolled participants / NOT OPEN for Enrollmen ​The objective of this study is to investigate whether PFO closure is superior to current standard of care medical treatment in the prevention of recurrent embolic stroke
SOCRATES Recruiting participants / OPEN Enrollmen The objective of this study is to compare the effect of 90-day treatment with ticagrelor versus aspirin for the prevention of major vascular events in patients with acute ischemic stroke or TIA.
