From the Executive Director

As our ministry transitions from its old home on Highland Avenue to its new home on Medical Center Parkway, we continue to be amazed at the support our community has shown to Middle Tennessee Medical Center.  Through numerous receptions, tours and open houses, we have seen literally thousands of our friends and neighbors come through the facility and in each and every case, the response of those who view our new home has been one of pride and excitement. 

One meaningful way we’ve seen this support is through the dramatically increased giving to the MTMC Foundation.  This past fiscal year our foundation received more in philanthropic gifts than in any year in its history.  While a certain amount of this can easily be attributed to the capital campaign, we were thrilled to see that support for our ministry increased across the board – including our cancer center funds, education funds, and funds that help provide care to the poor.

As we move into the fall and the holiday season, the foundation will be working to successfully wrap-up our capital campaign.  We are very close to reaching the $20 million goal that was set before us three years ago and welcome the continuing support of our friends and neighbors.
