- 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Each patient has the right (subject to his or her consent, which can
be withdrawn at any time) to receive the visitors whom he or she
designates, including but not limited to a spouse, a domestic partner
(including a same–sex domestic partner), a family member or
friend.Patients have a right to designate a support person who is at the
hospital assisting the patient during their stay. This designee may
exercise the patient's visitation rights on the patient's behalf if the
patient is unable to do so.
Critical care welcomes the presence of the patient's primary support
person, at any time. The primary support person presence is especially
important during admission, patient education, discharge planning,
clinical rounding, and decisions regarding the plan of care.In the
interest of the patient's care and need for rest other visitors may come
during the hours of 8:00-11:00 am, 3:00-6:00 pm and 8:00-10:00 pm. The
number of visitors are limited to two (2) at a time and must be at least
12 years old and accompanied by an adult.
Inpatients are advised of hospital visitation policies through
receipt of the patient handbook and on admission to Critical Care by
receipt of Visitation Guidelines.
The Critical care reserves the right to determine any situation where
it is necessary to limit visitation. These restrictions may include but
not limited to:
- Disruptive, threatening or violent behavior of any kind. Visitors
who are disruptive to patients, staff or other visitors, or interfere
with patient care will be asked to stop behavior and escorted from the

- Court order limiting or restraining contact.
- During invasive treatments/procedures.
